Burn

Wounds

Burn wounds are injuries to the skin and underlying tissues caused by heat, chemicals, electricity, or radiation. Effective treatment focuses on preventing infection, managing pain, and promoting healing to restore skin integrity and function.

arterial

ulcers

Arterial ulcers are painful wounds caused by inadequate blood flow to the tissues, typically affecting the lower legs, feet, or toes. Effective treatment focuses on restoring circulation, protecting the wound, and managing underlying vascular disease to promote healing.

diabetic (neuropathic) ulcers

Diabetic, or neuropathic, ulcers are chronic wounds that develop due to nerve damage and poor circulation in individuals with diabetes. They most often occur on the feet and require specialized care to prevent infection, promote healing, and reduce the risk of amputation.

surgical & traumatic wounds

Surgical and traumatic wounds result from intentional incisions during procedures or accidental injuries to the skin and underlying tissues. Proper cleaning, closure, and wound care are essential to promote healing, minimize scarring, and prevent infection.

venous stasis

ulcers

Venous stasis ulcers are wounds that develop on the lower legs due to poor blood flow and increased venous pressure. They are often chronic, slow to heal, and require compression therapy and proper wound management to promote healing and prevent recurrence.

lower extremity limb salvage

Lower extremity limb salvage focuses on preserving the function and integrity of a threatened leg or foot through advanced wound care, revascularization, and surgical techniques. The goal is to prevent amputation, restore mobility, and improve the patient’s overall quality of life.
